Linda Morell
Linda Morell is the third and last artist-in-residence this year. Feel welcomed to her solo exhibition in the second half of September curated by Šárka Koudelová. Exhibirion opening is on Tuesday 19 September from 6pm.
Linda Morell is a visual artist who mainly works with sculpture and installation concerning ideas about bodies and ecologies. Thinking through theories and narratives within science and myth she creates works in various materials such as ceramics, metals, glass and plastics. Some of her previous work looked at hygienic design and the material relationships of the human body, while recent work has focused on transformation and interaction across organisms.
Morell graduated from the art academy in Bergen, Norway in 2019 and has since had solo presentations at venues such as The North Norwegian Art Centre in Svolvær, BO (The Association of Visual Artists Oslo) and Platform in Stockholm.
The project is implemented with the financial support of the City of Prague and State Culture Fund of the Czech Republic.
