“The whole Cherry Valley is white and green – only flowers and grass. Through dream images we discover what was lost for a long time. We often remember only an impression that we try to reproduce, fulfill, or just fleetingly capture. Why are the very first memories so intense? Ester Knapová (b. 1993) creates an atlas of imaginary landscapes in which one can endlessly flip through, return to, and find possibilities for intimate confession – a meditative (post)covid dialogue of coming to terms with death.”
