Rezident

Noa Kurnick

Noa Kurnick (*1999) is our second international resident. She will spend two months at the PRÁM studio – June and July. At the end of her residency, you can look forward to her exhibition in our gallery. The curator of the exhibition will be Šárka Basjuk Koudelová, and the opening will take place on July 23, 2024, at 6:00 PM.

Noa is a painter who works with the medium of video and installation. She holds a B.F.A. from the Fine Arts Department at Bezalel Academy of Art and Design. Her work creates a space to encounter what causes her discomfort in an attempt to make it comfortable. Noa works spontaneously and expressively, using everyday materials available in the given workspace, to which she adds biographical elements.

Her work has been showcased at various exhibitions and festivals, including The New Gallery Teddy (2022), Barbur Gallery (2023), Nulubaz Cooperative Space for Contemporary Art (2023), Koresh 14 Gallery in collaboration with Manofim Jerusalem Contemporary Art Festival (2024), Art cube artists’ studios (2024), and The Givat Haviva Shared Art Center (2024).

The project is carried out with the financial support of the City of Prague and the State Cultural Fund of the Czech Republic.
